In November 2000 he was named Pastor of the headquarters church, Sessions Tabernacle, and Bishop Designate of the United Pentecostal Church of God. Since becoming Pastor the membership has grown and God has blessed him and taken his ministry to another level. Bishop Sessions was consecrated to the office of Bishop in May of 2001 and since the passing of his father, the late Chief Prelate and founder Bishop Charles Sessions, in September of 2001 he has assumed the position as Chief Prelate of the United Pentecostal Church of God. He has trained, licensed, ordained and installed many ministers and pastors.
Under his leadership two new churches, New Jerusalem in Freeport, New York and Narroway in Chesapeake, Virginia, were added to the United Pentecostal Church of God and the fruits of his labor continues to blossom. He is loved, appreciated and respected by all of his members. Bishop Damon L. Sessions will surely take this great organization to the top, building a powerful ministry for today’s world.
