United Pentecostal Church of God

Bishop Damon L. Sessions

Bishop Damon L. Sessions was saved, sanctified, baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late Bishop Charles Don Sessions founder of the United fulfilled.

Bishop Sessions is a graduate of Roosevelt High School and the United Bible institute. As a child Bishop Sessions grew up in a spirit filled environment. Marveling after his father and the ministry he enjoyed listening to the word. He has always been a lover of music and as a young man God anointed him to be a great musician. Bishop Sessions' music ministry was a very important part of his life. Through this ministry he was able to bring souls to Christ. He has molded many voices and organized the National Choir (The National Ephesians). He has written many songs and was blessed to record three times. He served as the National President of Music where he ensured that the music within all the United Pentecostal Churches was edifying to God. He also taught the art of true worship and praise to the musicians and worship leaders.

Music remains a part of his ministry but when he was called to minister in 1993 he began spending more time in the word. Bishop Sessions is a true lover of the Word and has brought forth many messages teaching the young as well as old to importance of salvation, deliverance, faith and the love of Christ. Bishop and First Lady Yolanda Sessions were married in June of 1992 and from this union they have two beautiful children, Victoria and Devin. Bishop Sessions was ordained Elder in 1996 and was appointed District Elder of South Carolina. As District Elder he oversaw Household of Faith United Pentecostal Church communicating the By Laws of the United Pentecostal Church of God and working to grow the organization in the Southland.

In November 2000 he was named Pastor of the headquarters church, Sessions Tabernacle, and Bishop Designate of the United Pentecostal Church of God. Since becoming Pastor the membership has grown and God has blessed him and taken his ministry to another level. Bishop Sessions was consecrated to the office of Bishop in May of 2001 and since the passing of his father, the late Chief Prelate and founder Bishop Charles Sessions, in September of 2001 he has assumed the position as Chief Prelate of the United Pentecostal Church of God. He has trained, licensed, ordained and installed many ministers and pastors.

Under his leadership two new churches, New Jerusalem in Freeport, New York and Narroway in Chesapeake, Virginia, were added to the United Pentecostal Church of God and the fruits of his labor continues to blossom. He is loved, appreciated and respected by all of his members. Bishop Damon L. Sessions will surely take this great organization to the top, building a powerful ministry for today’s world.
